Our logo
The main event. Our logo is made up from two elements, the Sunrise symbol and the P&O Cruises logotype. Our logo is highly recognisable and has been specially drawn for us so please, treat it with care, using the appropriate artworks supplied and never recreating or recolouring it in any way.
For our new creative platform, we’ve removed the keystone and have adapted the existing logo to create a new logo lock-up. The idea is to make more of the brand iconography and so we’ve increased the size of the sunrise. This also allows us to use the sunrise asset separately to increase further brand standout and communication.
Primary logo Our primary logo is used across all printed material and is our hero logo. The sunrise sits loud and proud above the P&O Cruises name and it creates clear brand stand-out in the market.
Our new animated shimmery sunrise logo We’ve created a new animated logo for our digital platform featuring a shimmery sunrise. This helps bring some movement and sparkle to our logo, drawing the eye and showing the energy and brightness of our brand. It can be used in all digital platforms and drives more engagement.
Our Sunrise symbol
Our little ray of sunshine. The Sunrise symbol can be used on its own very occasionally, and only with approval from the Brand team.
Please do not re-create the Sunrise symbol or use different colour options than those supplied on the master artworks.
The P&O Cruises logo colours
Our two logo colours are part of our heritage. These are the only colours that can be used as part of our logo.
Bronze with white logotype
This brand mark can appear on alternative dark colour backgrounds.
Primary logo
In most cases the P&O Cruises logo should be produced in full colour using either process colour printing (CMYK) or special Pantone colours on a white background.
Occasionally the logo can be produced on a dark background and then the logotype should be white and the Sunrise bronze.
If foiling the sunrise then please use: Standard Gold 001
White colour brand mark
This brand mark can appear on alternative dark colour backgrounds.
Please contact the Brand Team before using this version.
Black colour brand mark
When colour needs to be minimal, like on classified newspaper adverts or on sponsorship end frames, this brand mark can be used.
For use on dark backgrounds
For some more premium applications, the P&O Cruises logo can be reproduced on a P&O Cruises Blue base background. We’ve produced three colour variants for you to use: a completely white logo, a bronze Sunrise with white logotype and a completely black logo.
The keystone
We’re currently reviewing the use of our keystone. We’ll have a detailed update in the near future but in the meantime, where the keystone is currently used (e.g. websites) please stick with it. Any new work can remove the keystone where appropriate and use our logo.
The P&O Cruises ship mark Our ship mark is made up of two elements: the Sunrise symbol and the ship name logo. The logo uses the same unique font as our P&O Cruises logo, and the Sunrise is always centred above.
As you can see, this is consistent throughout and we have one for each ship in the fleet.
When not to use our ship mark:
- It shouldn’t be used with the P&O Cruises logo or keystone The ship marks are to give each ship their own identity and personalise communication
- It shouldn’t be used for communications from a ship’s venues e.g. The Epicurean, as each venue has its own logo and identity
- It shouldn’t be used in advertising campaigns or marketing activity that isn’t specific just to the ship
Downloads
Each download contains all the P&O Cruises logos in an array of file formats: ai, eps, JPGs, PNGs and tiffs; and in RGB and CMYK for both digital and print applications.

Where to put the logo
The primary position to place our logo is top-centre or bottom-right. (We position our logo top-left on our P&O Cruises website and emails.) Please only feature our logo once on a page.
Centre
When working with a third party, our logo should become the hero, supported by the secondary, third-party logo.
When required, the logo on brochures can be scaled and foiled for greater impact.
On our pulse creative the logo is centralised, leading into the promotional offer.
Bottom right
These examples show how the logo should sit bottom-right and centrally within the panel.
Website and emails
By situating our logo on the left-hand side, it ensures it will always be visible, regardless of how small the user’s screen is. Also, if the user narrows their browser window, it will affect the top-right corner and our logo will remain.
Email: logo applied top-left
Email pulse creative template: our logo sits within a box and the offer would be displayed underneath.
